Tempura scampi |
First we defrost and prepare the prawns.. |
The we dip them in pre-made tempura mix. You can either buy ready made or make it your self. 200 grams of flour and 100 grams of maisenna mixed with ice cold water... Ta da.. |
Let the prawns fry in hot oil until golden brown. |
And while our darlings rest their blonde angelic heads, mum and dad tastes a piece of heaven... |

Kjell Arne er blitt sushi kokken her i huset, så det mangler dessverre en del bilder fra selve kokkeleringen. Men det er ikke så rart, for det er på dette tidspunktet at de tre små grisene skal finne bingen og da er mor opptatt med å vaske labber og tryner. ;O) Men kan absolutt anbefale å prøve dette. Smaker nydelig!!!! Og det beste av alt - myyyye mat for pengene i sammenlikning med kjøpt.
We've become hooked on sushi. And take a guess who's responsible for that? Well, it was my I-don't-like-taco-give-a-manly-man-some-MEAT father in law. Yup. I've got no idea how it all started, but that man is one and only responsible for a sushi eating family. And Kjell Arne has become the sushi chef around here. But I'm sorry there's some pictures missing from the actual masterchef in action. You see, at this point I'm putting our three kids to bed. So mom is a bit pre occupied and not available as a photografer.. But I WILL recommend everyone who likes sushi to try making their own. It tastes wonderful!! And the best of all - a lot of food in comparison of bought sushi.
